LUXURY CONDOS ADD EXCLUSIVE AMENITIES

Developers partner with chefs, gourmet brands to attract buyers

Luxury residential developers in South Florida are increasingly partnering with celebrity chefs and specialty food brands to create private dining experiences for residents.

Bentley Residences Miami announced plans for a residents- only restaurant led by celebrity chef Todd English. The 61-story oceanfront tower, under construction at 18401 Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach, will debut Proper English by Todd English in early 2028. Located on the lobby level, the restaurant will serve residents and their guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“Proper English by Chef Todd English will provide our residents with casual dining in a sophisticated environment,” said Gil Dezer, president of Dezer Development.

English, a four-time James Beard Award winner, will oversee the menu and dining program, which includes in-residence service, private catering and seasonal Mediterranean- inspired dishes. Bentley Residences, the first Bentley-branded residential tower, broke ground in 2024 and will feature 216 units priced from $5.8 million.

In West Palm Beach, Alba Palm Beach is taking a similar approach. The waterfront condominium, at 4714 N. Flagler Drive, partnered with Miami-based gourmet shop Chèvre to open a residents-only market this spring. Units are priced from just under $3 million.

The boutique market will offer artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, specialty goods, wines and coffee, along with private tastings and in-home catering. Developer Kenneth Baboun said the concept complements the building’s lifestyle amenities.

Chèvre founder Mario Naar said the collaboration reflects the brand’s focus on curated food experiences.

Other South Florida developments – including Porsche Design Tower Miami, Residences by Armani/ Casa Sunny Isles Beach and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach – also market exclusive dining as part of their luxury appeal.
