Alba Palm Beach goes vertical, marking the only luxury condo to rise in town this summer

Vertical construction has begun on the highly anticipated residential development, Alba Palm Beach, situated along the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach. This 22-story tower, designed by the renowned architectural firm Spina O'Rourke + Partners, with landscape architecture by Schmidt Nichols, is the brainchild of developers BGI Companies and Blue Road Group.

At 262 feet, Alba Palm Beach will offer 55 luxury residences, including four exclusive two- and three-story townhomes with unobstructed views of the Intracoastal Waterway and private plunge pools. Moss has been tapped as the general contractor, overseeing the construction process.

Alba Palm Beach is now the furthest along in construction among all of the city's developments. With units starting just under $3M, the project is slated for completion in Spring 2026 and has already achieved a 50% sales milestone.

Northwood, the emerging neighborhood in West Palm Beach, has seen the visionary influence of Alba's developer, Kenny Baboun, who was the first to purchase and begin developing directly on the waterfront land east of North Flagler.

Residents of Alba Palm Beach will enjoy spacious layouts, floor-to-ceiling hurricane-impact windows, sliding doors, glass-framed terraces, and summer kitchens. Each floor will feature a limited number of residences, with private elevators and vestibules enhancing privacy. The homes will boast Italian-designed kitchens by Italkraft, high-quality stainless steel appliances from SubZero® and Wolf®, and designer bathroom fixtures and finishes.

Amenities at Alba Palm Beach will include a day dock with slips, pool decks to capture sunrise and sunset views, and a state-of-the-art Technogym® fitness room with a yoga studio and Pilates reformer. The development dedicates over 25,000 square feet to exceptional amenities, such as a modern conference area with audio-visual capabilities, private workspaces, a multi-sport simulator room, a theater, and a private dining room with climate-controlled wine storage.

On July 27, a significant milestone was reached with the completion of a massive concrete pour, covering approximately 4,800 square feet at a depth of 8'-6". This undertaking utilized 1,500 cubic yards of concrete, reinforced by 310 tons of steel. The process involved two pump trucks and was supplied by three separate Titan concrete plants, beginning at 4:00 AM and continuing for over 10 hours, achieving a remarkable placement rate of 140-150 cubic yards per hour.

On July 30, the first elevated deck pour was successfully executed, involving 10 tons of steel, 4 tons of PT, and 160 yards of concrete. This critical phase took approximately 3-4 hours to pour and an additional 4 hours to finalize.
