On May 19th, more than 100 of South Florida’s top real estate professionals gathered for an informative conversation about the ongoing evolution of residential real estate in the area, and what to expect as the next development cycle continues.

The main topic of discussion centered on why the Palm Beaches, and West Palm Beach in particular, are some of the most in-demand destinations in Florida.

“Advantageous location, relatively low population density, and a strong infrastructure with easy connection to existing points of interest are all combining to create a situation much like other highly coveted areas in South Florida,” said Kenneth Baboun, developer behind Alba Palm Beach.

His remarks were echoed by Joe Furst of Place Properties who pointed out the rise in mixed-use development in the northern corridor, indicating that buyer and renter interest is shifting here from all directions.
